Rosemary Ramsey took her senior living background in a surprising direction, when she founded The Victory Lap, an intergenerational program that benefits both senior living communities and youth about to age out of foster care. She has piloted a program in Nashville, Tennessee, that gives 18- to 21-year-old foster youth a chance to avoid the worst challenges of leaving the foster care system — homelessness, unemployment, and a lack of connection to caring adults.
