How to turn all those “Likes” into “Leads”

By Katie Roper

By now, nearly every major senior housing company has a Facebook page, many have a blog, some even do Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Online reviews are everywhere and can no longer be ignored, and trade show sessions on social media are inevitably packed — with sales and marketing staff clamoring to keep up with the latest trends in the ever-evolving realm of social media.

But are all those “Likes” actually generating any leads?

It’s easy to celebrate the 50 likes your last page post got or do a little happy dance over your 10,000th fan. But are your social media efforts really moving the proverbial needle for your business? For instance, how much revenue did you make from social media last year?

Facebook made more than 4.5 billion in revenue in 2015 as of Nov. 4th — so “likes” are definitely leading to dollars for them. How about your company? Do you know how to measure the value of your social media efforts?

Caring’s Digital Marketing Academy webinar this Thursday, January 14 (Caring.com is a Senior Housing Forum Partner) will dive deep into social media in 2016 – including trends, tips, and actionable ideas that you can use to move “beyond the Like” to measure the effectiveness of your social campaigns. Our social expert, Denise Graab, will share recommendations for social media priorities in 2016 that can deliver the greatest return on investment (ROI) — including how to make the most of social media with or without an agency, and with or without a huge budget.

This webinar builds on prior Digital Marketing Academy webcasts about the basics of social media marketing, and we suggest you have a basic understanding of social media to get the most out of this session.
