Shep Roylance is Senior Vice President of JCH Consulting Group, a full-service real estate brokerage company and Senior Housing Forum partner. They specialize in the sale of health care facilities across the nation, but do most of their business from Colorado west.
He’s noticed a substantial change in the market over the past 6 years away from skilled nursing. He says, “it’s definitely been that 90% of my business has been skilled [nursing]. This year it’s actually changed . . . the market has changed for skilled nursing in California and across the nation.”
Currently his business mix is about half skilled nursing and half senior living.
