It rained and it rained and it rained . . .

I struggled to figure out how to tell this story in the right way. I hope this works because it is a good story . . .

September 15, 2014 in Peoria, Arizona, it began to rain. It rained and it rained and it rained some more. At 3 AM the residents and staff at Good Samaritan Society – Peoria Good Shepherd heard a loud bang and the whole building went dark.   

 

It didn’t take them long to realize that a short had clobbered the whole electrical system and that there was no easy fix. They began the process of moving 97 residents to a dozen or so surrounding communities where Good Shepherd staff continued to care for the residents.
